In line with government restrictions regarding COVID-19, events that involve large gatherings are currently not taking place, however some park activities and commercial activities have resumed following guidance where social distancing is possible. We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to act on the advice of the Government and Public Health England. For further information and advice please visit GOV.uk

WHAT’S ON IN BROMLEY PARKS

Offering wide open spaces and great accessibility, it is little wonder there are so many events in Bromley throughout the year. We are the biggest and greenest borough in London.  So no matter what the season, or the weather, a great show is always put on.

It is not all happening in our urban parks though, with popular events and environmental initiatives taking place in our countryside parks too.

Since idverde fully managed park events and other activities since the summer of 2015, we prioritised diversity, inclusivity of all ages, cultures and backgrounds, and a real organic growth of community-led events. Bromley now hosts some of the biggest and most ambitious events south of the Thames; the borough has its highest levels of community and friends events, as well as events that support people’s mental and physical wellbeing with record levels of people taking part.

As an example, idverde have proudly restored Crystal Palace Park’s reputation as an important venue for events, markets and other enjoyable park activities as a destination park. This includes world class grass-roots music events and fireworks festivals, outdoor cinemas, fitness-focussed obstacle courses, motor sports and a weekly farmers markets supporting local produce and social enterprise.

We believe in continuing the organic growth of events that benefits the community and puts them at the forefront.

We also believe strongly that event organisers ensure there is better access and facilities for deaf and disabled people.
