Our Woodlands Explorers group welcomes children from the ages of 2 to 5 to take part in our fun outdoor sessions. They are aimed at developing skills and resilience, testing boundaries and deepening understanding of the natural world.
Session date and time
Every Wednesday at 10am – 11am.
The sessions will last for one hour. We will meet in the paddock 10 minutes before the start time get ready to leave. We ask you to be considerate to other participants and aim to arrive as promptly as possible.
£3.75 per person
We have temporarily adjusted our pricing of sessions to reflect our maximum limit of 15 people in one group for each activity, children under 5 don’t count towards the group number limit. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.
We are changing the way we run public event sessions to reduce the risk of spreading Covid 19. Available ticket numbers have been reduced for this session to a maximum of 15 adults in the group. It is the responsibility of the adults to supervise the social distancing of themselves and their children at all times.
Instead of meeting in the BEECHE centre as usual we will meet in our fenced off outside area (nicknamed ‘the paddock’), we will then set off from there.
To get to the paddock from the main car park follow the path up the slope and bear right, you will see the paddock just past the public toilets & Eton fives court. It is surrounded by bunting. For a map to the paddock click here.
For access to toilet facilities, please use the public toilets available at High Elms before or after the session.
All equipment will be provided, as well as hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes to be used by customers before and after use of our materials.
For further information or for a copy of our risk assessment please call or email the centre using the contact details below. In the case that planned sessions are cancelled due to government advice you will be entitled to a refund. We ask you to be considerate to other participants and aim to arrive as promptly as possible.
With government guidance being regularly updated, we also need you to help keep BEECHE staff and other customers safe by abiding to government guidance as it applies to you at the time of the event that you are due to attend.
